Heather Hughes

Heather’s fitness journey started in 2012 when she got stationed at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii after her second deployment which took her to Afghanistan. During that deployment is when her curiosity piqued and she started following big fitness idols like Dana Linn Bailey and Nicole Wilkins. 

Upon arriving to the Hawaiian islands at age 23 and partying like most young people do, she decided to change her lifestyle completely. Aside from her full time job in the Army, Heather dedicated 6 days a week and 2 hours each day to improving her health and physique. Her goals weren’t to just be slim but to build as much muscle as possible and prove that strong women are just as beautiful! 

She built a huge online following and presence which ultimately led to her being picked up by a few companies for sponsorship over the following years.

Since completing her 8 year active duty contract she is now in the National guard and can dedicate more time to her passion for lifting. She hopes to someday compete in Women’s Physique.

Now, at age 29, she is still living the fit life in Las Vegas, Nevada and encouraging all those around her to take care of the only body they have.
